Kruger Optical is a full-service provider of optics products. By combining advanced U.S. engineering with the manufacturing capabilities of modern Asian factories, we have created a menu of high-value products for every budget.

Founders Mark Thomas and Eric Ye joined forces a decade ago, building an engineering-based company that fo- cuses on new product development. With a combined 150 years of experience in optical product development, manufacturing and marketing, Kruger Optical’s employees have a unique ability to bring innovative products to market.

Working from our sales and operation center in Walnut, CA, our engineering and QA headquarters in Sisters, OR, and our QA and logicistics center in Shanghai, China, we combine personal service with factory-direct pricing. Our U.S. staff works closely with factory engineers to offer the advanced, high performance products our customers require.

Our Kruger Optical, Discovery Expedition™ and Pacific Rim Optical product lines, each created for a unique market segment, were designed with a common philosophy. We seek to give our customers the highest level of excellence their money can buy. In each product category, we have created elegant, high performance products packed with features normally found in higher-priced brands.

The company also provides private label products to many well-known companies in North America. We offer well over 300 SKUs of optics products representing nearly every price point and combination of features. Our ISO 9001 and 9002 certified factories manufacture to the highest international standards. With more than 2,000 highly trained workers, 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space and state-of-the-art equipment, our factories produce elegant products in large volumes. All our products undergo stringent Quality Assurance testing at the factories, and additional product testing can be performed in our U.S. lab.

Kruger Optical offers binoculars, spotters and riflescopes under its Kruger Optical and brand. For its Kruger Optical brand, the company sought to create innovative, top-of-the-line products at moderate prices for military, law enforcement, hunting and general outdoor markets. We are especially proud of our newly developed K5 riflescopes and Caldera Series binoculars, representing a new generation of optics technology.

We also put our technical knowledge to work in our Pacific Rim Optical (PRO) Scientific Division. Through PRO, we supply optical components such as lenses, prisms and subassemblies for applications in the medical, laser, telecommunications, projection, camera, astronomical and defense industries, among others. Our Engineering Division provides optical engineering services to customers worldwide.
