What makes a great, all-purpose observation binocular? We put the question to the engineers at Kruger Optical, and as usual, they had a few ideas. For starters, they said, the binocular should be compact and lightweight, for easy stowing in a pocket or backpack for any outing. It should be affordable but contain quality features … just right for everyday use. A well-designed optical system with multiple lens coatings, durable construction and an attractive appearance were also important.
